What type of Pack are you?

Pack 1402 is a Family Pack which means we are open to boys and girls. We are 100% parent run.

Where are you located?

Pack 1402 serves South Sienna, and surrounding areas. Our primary place of meeting is Scanlan Oaks Elementary.

We use other FBISD and Sienna HOA facilities for our meetings as well.

When are the meetings

The Pack meets as a whole once a month, generally on the 2nd Tuesday. The Pack Calendar has all of our pack events.

In addition to Pack events, Each Den (Cub Scouts of the Same Age / Gender) meet 1-2 times per month. This time is set by each individual Den at the start of each year.

What happens if we miss a meeting

Every part of Scouting is optional. We don’t take attendance. Attend as many meetings / events as it suits.

If you are unable to attend a meeting where other Cub Scouts work on a piece of core badgework, this can be caught up at home, or at one of the campouts.

Can we attend a meeting to see what it is like before we join?

Yes.  Please Complete a Request for information, and specify that you would like to attend a meeting to meet the pack before officially joining.

Please check our Pack Calendar for the date, time and location of the next meeting.

What is expected of me as an Adult?

The most important action you can take as an adult in scouting is to be present and engage with your child through their scouting experience.

Scouting runs on an army of Volunteers. A strong vibrant allows adults to engage in the growth and development of their youth.

More information can be found on our What is Expected of Me? page

What is the Cost of Scouting

The cost of scouting for the first year roughly $300, and breaks down as follows

We aim to make Scouting accessible to all Children. Cost should never be a barrier to scouting.

If cost is the limiting factor, please email chairman@pack1402.org, and we will privately find a way to support your child to participate in scouting.
